Use this menu selection to create a self executable slide show of images. You will be prompted for several options prior to the creation of the slide show executable. Once you have created the slide show, you will be able to send it others via e-mail. Recipients of a ThumbsPlus executable slide show do not need ThumbsPlus to view the slide show images. However, they will need to be running a Windows operating system. This slide show will not run on other operating systems.
Output slide show filename. Enter the full path name for the slide show executable file. you may use the [...] browse button to select an output path nam.
PNG. Select this option to create the slide show with embedded PNG image format files.
JPEG. Select this option to create the slide show with embedded JPEG image format files.
Quality (25-90). Enter the quality setting to be used for the JPEG image format.
Reduce images to fit
Original size. Use this option to keep the original file dimensions for the embedded slide show files.
640 x 480 - 1024 x 768. Select one of these options to choose specific resize dimensions to be used for embedded slide show images.
Custom. Enter a custom width and height for the embedded slide show images.
Playback options (used on slide show startup)
Control manually. Select this option to not automatically advance the image files - user intervention via keyboard arrows, space and backspace, or left and right mouse buttons is required. If unchecked, the Slide delay value will determine how long the slide show will wait until automatically displaying the next image.
Full screen. Causes the slide show to run in Full Screen mode.
Stretch to fit screen. Slide show images will ALWAYS be stretched to fit the slide show window.
Reduce to fit screen. Slide show images will ONLY be stretched to fit the slide show window if they are larger than the window's slide area.
Show file names. Displays each file name with the image.
Show comments. Image comments stored in the slide show images will be displayed with the images.
Centered. Check this option to center the image comments when displayed.
Show sequence numbers. Check this option to display file sequence numbers in the slide show.
Font. Select the font that will be used to display any images comments and file names.
Note: If the font doesn't exist on the computer running the slide show, the default system font will be used at the point size selected.
Text color. Select the text color for the font that will be used to display any images comments and file names.
Background color. Select the background color used to fill the area of the slide show window not covered by the slide image.
