Local folder frequency. Enter the time in seconds that ThumbsPlus should wait between each check of a local watched folder.

Note: This option is the same as the Watch folder frequency option in Options | Preferences - Advanced.

Network folder frequency. Enter the time in seconds that ThumbsPlus should wait between each check of a network watched folder.

Note: ThumbsPlus watches network folders differently than local folders. Microsoft Windows provides an operating system function that notifies applications when local files or folders have changed. This function does not work for network files or folders. Therefore, in order for ThumbsPlus to watch a network folder, it must manually scan the network folder periodically for changes. The number of files and sub-folders in the watched network folder will affect how long a scan will take. It is recommended to set the network folder frequency to a higher interval for folders with larger numbers of files and sub-folders.
