DDE Commands

ThumbsPlus will respond to the following DDE commands, each of which is covered in detail more detail:

Acquire	Get Image via TWAIN Acquire.
Close	Close a view window.
Convert	Convert selected files to another supported output file format.
CopyClipboard	Copy an image or metafile to the clipboard.
Exit	Exit the program.
Find	Find files by assigned keyword.
Keyword	Assign/remove keywords from files.
LocateFile	Locate and select a file or set of files (by mask).
MakeThumb	Make a thumbnail for a file or for currently selected files.
Open	Open a file and show it in a view window.
OpenDB	Open a specific ThumbsPlus database.
OpenDir	Position the folder tree in a specific folder.
Print	Print a file.
RefreshTree	Rereads the folder tree.
RemoveThumb	Remove thumbnail from selected files.
RemoveTree	Remove thumbnails from a folder tree.
ScanTree	Scan a folder tree and create thumbnails.
ShowFiles	Set (or clear) the file name mask used in the thumbnail view.
ShowWindow	Show or hide the main ThumbsPlus window.
SlideShow	Start a slide show.
BatchProcess	Perform a predefined batch process on a set of files.
WebPages	Runs the Web Page Wizard with a saved scheme.
UpdateDir	Update all thumbnails in a specific folder or the current folder.

Note: Many commands accept a file or folder name as a parameter. You may enclose the name in quotes if you wish, but this is not required. When the filename parameter is optional for a command, it is shown in blue. You should always use the complete path to the file.

If you use a UNC name (i.e., \\PHILLIP\C\TEMP) for OpenDir or LocateFile, ThumbsPlus will automatically map a drive letter for you.
