ThumbsPlus will respond to the following DDE commands, each of which is covered in detail more detail:
Get Image via TWAIN Acquire. |

Exit the program. |

Find files by assigned keyword. |

Assign/remove keywords from files. |

Locate and select a file or set of files (by mask). |

Make a thumbnail for a file or for currently selected files. |

Open a file and show it in a view window. |
|
Open a specific ThumbsPlus database. |
|
Position the folder tree in a specific folder. |
|
Print a file. |
|
Rereads the folder tree. |
|
Remove thumbnail from selected files. |

Remove thumbnails from a folder tree. |
|
Scan a folder tree and create thumbnails. |
|
Set (or clear) the file name mask used in the thumbnail view. |
|
Show or hide the main ThumbsPlus window. |
|
Start a slide show. |
|
Perform a predefined batch process on a set of files. |
|
Runs the Web Page Wizard with a saved scheme. |
|
Update all thumbnails in a specific folder or the current folder. |
Note: Many commands accept a file or folder name as a parameter. You may enclose the name in quotes if you wish, but this is not required. When the filename parameter is optional for a command, it is shown in blue. You should always use the complete path to the file.
If you use a UNC name (i.e., \\PHILLIP\C\TEMP) for OpenDir or LocateFile, ThumbsPlus will automatically map a drive letter for you.
