View Window - Image | Stamp - Placement and Pixels...

 

 

Use this dialog to select where the image stamp will be placed on the current image.

 

Position

 

By Matrix. Places the stamp image in one of the nine areas (displayed on the left) of the current image.

 

By % Offset. Places the stamp image at a given offset (specified by Left and Top values in percentages of the current image size) from the top left corner of the current image.

 

By Pixel Offset. Places the stamp image at a given offset (specified by Left and Top values in pixels) from the top left corner of the current image.

 

By Tiled. Tiles the stamp image across the current image. The number of rows and colums depends on Rows and Cols values.

 

By dragging. This option allows you to drag (and resize) the stamp image with the mouse before the stamp is applied. When using this option, the stamp function becomes a two-steps operation, therefore you will need to use Edit | Apply in order to complete the stamp operation.

 

 

Size

 

Auto Size. Select this option to automatically resize the stamp image to fit in the available area of the current image. The available area depends on the which position setting was used.

 

To Percentage. Select this option to specify the size of the stamp text or image by Width and Height values in percentages of the current image size.

 

To Pixels. Select this option to specify an exact size in pixels (Width and Height) for the stamp text or image.

 

Keep aspect ratio. Select this option to preserve the stamp image aspect ratio when resizing.

 

 

Rotation

 

Angle. Enter an angle to be used for rotation of the stamp image before stamping.

 

Fit Bounding Rect. Select this option to fit a rotated stamp image into the bounding rectangle. This will prevent the corners of the original stamp image from being cropped during rotation.

 

 

Text Justify (Horz)

 

Justify (Horz). Select the desired horizontal justification for text stamps. The available options are: Left, Center and Right.

 

 

Pixel Settings

 

Combination Method. Pick the way you would like the image stamp to be combined with the current image. The available options are: Transparent, Exclusive and Solid.

 

Use Alpha Channel. Check this option to use the stamp image's alpha channel (if present) for pixel blending. This option is disabled for stamp images that do not have an alpha channel.

 

Opacity. Check this option to specify the opacity of the stamp image

 

Transparency. Check this option to specify a transparent color in the image stamp. This color will be excluded when combining the image stamps pixels with the current image.

 

Transparent Color. Use this button to pick the transparent (excluded) color.

 

Threshold. Use this edit field to enter the threshold for background color exclusion. Any RGB values found in the stamp image whose values are within the range of (background color)-(threshold) to (background color)+(threshold) will be excluded when applying the stamp to the current image.

 

NOTE: Transparency options are not enabled when Use Alpha Channel is checked.

 

 

Default. Reset pixel settings back to default settings.

 

View. Click this button to view the stamp as it will look in the image view window.
