Undo

Ctrl+Z

Undo the last change to the image.

Redo

Ctrl+Y

Redo the last undone change to the image.

Fade

Ctrl+Shift+F

Fades the last image operation.

Revert to Saved

Ctrl+Shift+Z

Reloads the file, discarding any changes that were made.

Copy (All / Selection)

Ctrl+C

Copies the image (or its selected area) to the clipboard.

Cut

Ctrl+X

Cuts the selected area into the clipboard.

Paste

Ctrl+V

Pastes a clipboard selection into the image.

Delete

Del

Deletes the selected area of an image.

Cancel

Esc

Cancels the current selection.

Select All

Ctrl+A

Select the entire image.

Select Default

F11

Selects the default selection area.

Invert Selection

Ctrl+I

Inverts the selection to include anything not selected.

Create Alpha Channel...

 

Creates an alpha channel mask in the open image.

Figure Area...

 

Computes the area in terms of alternate units.

Selection Mode

 

 

Rectangular

 

Sets the selection mode to rectangular.

Elliptical

 

Sets the selection mode to elliptical.

Freehand

 

Sets the selection mode to freehand.

Apply

Enter

Applies a Paste or Trim to Size function.

Set Resolution...

E

Changes the resolution of the current image.

Edit Comments...

N

Edits or adds image comments.

Edit IPTC Info...

Shift+I

Edits or adds IPTC information in the image.

Clone

F8

Opens a new view window with a copy of the current image.

Next Page

Alt+PageDown

Show the next page in a multi-page format files, such as TIF.

Previous Page

Alt+PageUp

Show the previous page in a multi-page format files.

Goto Page...

Num *

Show a specific page in a multi-page format files.

Split Pages...

Num /

Extract all pages in a multi-page format file to seperate files.

 

Note: This menu provides options that operate on a selected area in the view window. Only image data within a raster image can be selected. To operate on a portion of a metafile, it must first be converted to a bitmap using the menu selection Image | Convert to Bitmap.
