These three options (to turn the image by 90 clockwise, 90 counter-clockwise, or 180 degrees) rotate the image quickly.

 

For JPEG images, data manipulation from the "quick process menu" is lossless. This means that no further information is lost during the process of rotating an image. The modification date of the file will be changed accordingly unless the option Retain original file date/time when quick process turning or editing IPTC is enabled in Options | Preferences - General.

 

Note: You can achieve these same functions (even in batch mode) by using Rotate with an angle of 90, 180 or 270.
