Use this menu selection selectively replace color ranges in an image.

Find

Find Color. Use this button to select the color that you wish to replace. You may also click anywhere inside the image area to select a color under the mouse position.

Use color component ranges. Check this option to have ThumbsPlus use the find color component ranges for hue, saturation and luminace when matching pixel colors for replacement. If this option is unchecked then the find and replace color ranges are not used when performing the color replacement and only the exact find color is replaced with the exact replace color.

Hue. Use the hue range selection control to adjust how much hue variance (both above and below the current color value) will be allowed when matching pixel colors for replacement.

Sat. Use the saturation range control to adjust how much saturation variance (both above and below the current color value) will be allowed when matching pixel colors for replacement.

Lum. Use the luminance range control to adjust how much luminance (brightness) variance (both above and below the current color value) will be allowed when matching pixel colors for replacement.

Replace

Replace Color. Use this button to select the color that you wish to use as the replacement color.

Enable replacement range scaling. Check this option to have ThumbsPlus scale the replace color with respect to the hue, saturation and luminace variances that where selected on the find color. If this option is unchecked then the exact replace color is used for all colors matching the find color information.

Hue. Use the hue range control to adjust how much hue variance (both above and below the current color value) will be used when mapping found pixel hue values to the replacement hue range.

Sat. Use the saturation range control to adjust how much saturation variance (both above and below the current color value) will be used when mapping found pixel saturation values to the replacement saturation range.

Lum. Use the luminance range control to adjust how much luminance (brightness) variance (both above and below the current color value) will be used when mapping found pixel luminance values to the replacement luminance range.

View. Click this button to manually preview the color replacement on the current image.

Clear. Click this button to clear the color replacement preview and display the original image colors.

Auto view. Check this option to have ThumbsPlus automatically preview the color replacement on the current image when an option change is made.

Note: For very large images, you may experience sluggish behavior with Auto View on. If so, uncheck this option and click the View button to preview the color replacement.
