Limitations and Known Problems
|
ThumbsPlus Screen Saver (Version
4.x compatible):
|
- ThumbsPlus must be installed properly on your
system (so the screen saver module can find THUMBS.EXE and
run it!).
- The preview shows scroll bars when reduce
to fit is enabled (because whether to reduce is based
on the screen size, rather than
the preview window size, so it doesn't scale properly to the
preview window).
- Sometimes when running the screen saver under
Windows NT 4.0 the first image will display briefly and then
the screen saver will close.
|
ThumbsPlus Screen Saver (Version
3.x compatible):
|
- ThumbsPlus must be installed properly on your
system (so the screen saver module can find THUMBS.EXE and
run it!).
- On some systems (we've not determined a common
denominator), ThumbsPlus reports "No files could be loaded..."
unless you select Include sub-folders
in the Settings dialog.
- The preview shows scroll bars when reduce
to fit is enabled (because whether to reduce is based
on the screen size, rather than
the preview window size, so it doesn't scale properly to the
preview window).
|
Problems Fixed in the Second Release (13 March 1998)
|
- Under Windows 95 sometimes reverted the selected
screen saver to None after running
the ThumbsPlus screen saver.
- The selected folder could have a space in
it.
